“White Crane, Lend Me Your Wings: A Tale of Tibetan Love and War (Japanese version)” is out now
The Japanese version of “White Crane, Lend Me Your Wings: A Tale of Tibetan Love and War” was published from Shoshikankanbou in October 2020. This book was translated by Izumi HOSHI, a member of LingDy3 Project.
This is a Japanese version of a posthumous novel by Dr Tsewang Yeshey Pemba, the founding father of Tibetan-English literature, “White Crane, Lend Me Your Wings: A Tale of Tibetan Love and War”. It is a historical fiction set in the breathtakingly beautiful Nyarong Valley in the Kham area of Eastern Tibet, in the first half of the twentieth century.
