“Minami Ryukyu Miyako go Irabujima Hougen (The Irabu Dialect, a Southern Ryukyuan Language)” was awarded the 47th Kindaichi Memorial Prize

Minami Ryukyu Miyako go Irabujima Hougen (The Irabu Dialect, a Southern Ryukyuan Language) by Dr. Michinori Shimoji (Kyushu University, ILCAA Joint Researcher, ex-Research Associate of LingDy) was awarded the 47th Kindaichi Memorial Prize.

It is the first volume of the series “Descriptive Grammars”, published first from ILCAA, through the project LingDy, and subsequently published commercially from Kurosio Publishers.

Kindaichi Memorial Prize is awarded once a year to outstanding research and achievements in linguistics and related studies by the Kindaichi Memorial Prize Committee since 1973.
