Publication of “Chukchi Animal Folk Tales with Grammatical Analysis”

The Book “Chukchi Animal Folk Tales with Grammatical Analysis”, edited by Tokusu Kurebito, a member of LingDy3 Project, is now published by ILCAA.

This volume includes ten Chukchi traditional folk tales that are related to the tundra and sea animals. The ten folk tales of this book were told by Antonina Kemetwali, the famous narrator of Chukchi folklore in August 2002. This book is now used by children as an aid to the textbooks of schools in the Chukchi autonomous region, Russia.
