AraTangut, a font of the Tangut script, received an award at the typography competition NY TDC (Type Directors Club) 69 on April 26, 2023. This font was created by typeface designer Kaito Osawa and Xicheng Yang, a PhD student at the University of Reading, under the supervision of Shintaro Arakawa, a member of DDDLing Project. This accolade is granted to creators who make significant contributions to Typography.
